From 400m struggler to Half marathon! - story

On 1st of March, 2026 I ran my first Half Marathon. 21.1 km. @punecitymarathon !!🔥🔥

Once a guy who couldn’t run 400 meters and felt like my lungs were filing a complaint against me and here comes this impossible accomplishment!!!

Somewhere between 12 and 20th km

I questioned my life choices.

I promised myself I’d never sign up again.

I mentally retired from running at least 4 times.

And then… that finish line appeared.

And suddenly, the pain didn’t matter.

The tired legs didn’t matter.

All that mattered was that I didn't give up!!

That moment when you cross the line?

That rare, almost unreal moment where your body is exhausted but your soul is screaming —

“YOU CAN CONQUER THE WORLD.” 🏅

It’s ineffable how powerful it feels. 🏅

400m struggler!!

to 21.1 km finisher.!!

Moral of the story?

Your mind is dramatic.
