On 15 February 2026, I stood at the start line of the Run for Safe Food 2026, not just as a runner, but as a believer in a cause that truly matters. I had registered for the 10K, knowing it would challenge me—but what I didn’t know was how deeply the event would inspire me.
As the race began, the energy in the air was electric. Every step felt powerful, every cheer motivating. The route was filled with positivity, fellow runners pushing their limits, and volunteers spreading smiles. With each kilometre, my determination grew stronger.
Crossing the finish line was an unforgettable moment. I completed the 10K in 58 minutes 04 seconds, achieving a Personal Record (PR) for myself. The sense of accomplishment was overwhelming—pure joy, pride, and gratitude all at once. The energy throughout the run was absolutely awesome, from start to finish.
The event was beautifully organised by Mukti, whose mission goes far beyond running events. Mukti works tirelessly towards sustainable development, environmental protection, and food security for vulnerable communities across India. Knowing that every step I took contributed to such a meaningful mission made the run even more special.
The motto of the run truly captured the spirit of the day—running not only for fitness, but for safe food, dignity, and a better future. It reminded all of us that small actions, when taken together, can create a big impact.
Run for Safe Food 2026 was more than a race.
It was a celebration of purpose, community, and perseverance.
I ran for health. I ran for a cause. And I ran with my heart full. 🏃♂️❤️
