There was a time when I stood at the gates of Sports Authority of India, full of hope, ready to prove myself.
I was 19.
But the rule was simple — under 18 only.
That day, I wasn’t rejected because of my ability…
I was rejected because of my age.
No second chance. No consideration. Just a silent “no.”
I walked away with a heavy heart. No coach, no support system, no backup plan. Just a thought echoing in my mind — “Maybe I’m too late.”
But something inside me refused to accept that.
If there was no system to support me, I would become my own system.
I started running.
Not on perfect tracks. Not with expensive shoes.
Just on roads, alone, with nothing but determination.
There were no claps.
No one watching.
No one motivating.
Only discipline.
Waking up when I didn’t feel like it.
Running when my body wanted to quit.
Showing up every single day — even when results were invisible.
Days turned into weeks.
Weeks turned into months.
Slowly, something started changing.
Not just my speed…
But my mindset.
I realized something powerful —
👉 Discipline doesn’t need support. It creates its own path.
Step by step, run by run, I built myself.
And today…
I stand as a district-level athlete.
Not because I had the best facilities.
Not because someone believed in me.
But because I chose to believe in myself when no one else did.
That rejection?
It didn’t stop me.
It shaped me.
👉 If you feel like you’re late…
👉 If you feel like no one is supporting you…
Remember this:
You don’t need perfect conditions.
You need relentless discipline.
Because in the end…
Discipline will take you where motivation never can. 🏃♂️🔥
