Professionally, I work as a Senior Software Developer, but before stepping into this career, I was deeply passionate about sports, I was a national-level champion in rock climbing.
During that time, I participated in multiple competitions and traveled across cities like Karnal, Kashmir, Shimla, IMF, and many more. That phase of life was full of adventure, discipline, and challenges. Injuries were a part of the journey, I even broke my fingers during competitions, which is quite common at that level of intense training. But those were the best days of my life, my endurance was at its peak, both physically and mentally.
As studies and career took priority, sports slowly faded out of my life. I got stuck in a routine, working daily with nothing beyond that. Working from home for almost three years made it even worse. My body started feeling stiff, I experienced weakness, lost flexibility, and my energy levels dropped significantly.
That’s when I realized I needed to change something.
I started small, playing cricket, football, and eventually began running again. With every step, it reminded me of my past, who I was and what I had become. My stamina was low, my energy was gone, but I decided to break through those barriers and restart my journey in sports.
Today, I feel alive again.
I’ve completed 20+ marathons, and every run brings back the passion and discipline I once had. Balancing work and sports has made me more energetic and focused. Meeting new people and connecting with fellow runners has further boosted my motivation.
This journey is more than just fitness, it’s about rediscovering myself.
