Run Bhopal Run 2026 is the annual flagship running event of Run Bhopal Run (RBR), organized in Bhopal, the “City of Lakes.” The event promotes running as a way to encourage a healthier lifestyle and fitness, bringing together runners and the wider community.

• 21K Half Marathon – ₹1,000

REFUND POLICY

• Full refund if the organizer cancels or postpones the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Runners can avail an 80% refund if cancellation is made 3 weeks before the event according to the published terms.
• The 5K page additionally states that participants with medical emergencies or accidents can receive a full refund before the event.

4:45 AM – 21K runners reporting
5:45 AM – 21K flag-off
5:30 AM – 10K runners reporting

10:30 AM – Finish-area timing mats switched off

BAGGAGE FACILITY

Baggage facilities are available for participants.

The organizer advises runners not to leave valuables, including phones, cameras, jewellery or original identification documents, inside baggage.

SHUTTLE BUS

Shuttle Bus: Not available
Reason: Start and finish venues are the same.

TIMING & RESULTS

The event uses RFID timing BIBs/timing mats.

Eligible participants receive SMS and timing certificates after crossing all mandatory timing points. Participants who fail to cross mandatory timing mats may not receive a finisher/timing certificate.

PROVISIONAL RESULTS: Within approximately 12 hours of race completion
FINAL RESULTS: Expected on the event website within 21 days of the event

RBR STRIDE MEDALS

RBR recognizes repeat Half Marathon participation through its Stride Medal series:

Bronze Stride Medal: 3 years of Half Marathon participation
Silver Stride Medal: 6 years
Gold Stride Medal: 9 years
Epic Stride Medal: 12 years

EXPO & BIB COLLECTION

DATE: Friday, 4 December 2026 & Saturday, 5 December 2026
TIME: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
VENUE: TT Nagar Stadium, Badminton Court / Multipurpose Hall

Participants receive at the Expo:

• T-Shirt
• Goodie Bag
• Running BIB with RFID Chip

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR BIB COLLECTION

Participants should carry:

• Registration confirmation email
• Government-approved photo ID
• Required waiver documentation

A representative can collect BIBs for other participants subject to the organizer's stated documentation requirements.

BIB RULES

• BIB must remain visible during the race.
• Participants cannot run without their BIB.
• BIBs are digitally registered to individual runners.
• BIBs must not be exchanged with another participant.
• Emergency-contact information should be completed on the back of the BIB.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

21K: 18 Years & Above
10K: 15 Years & Above
5K: 12 Years & Above

Participants below 18 years must provide parental consent as specified by the organizer.

GROUP & CORPORATE REGISTRATION

RBR offers group/corporate registration discounts:

10–49 registrations: 10% discount
50–99 registrations: 15% discount
100+ registrations: 20% discount

PRIZE & AWARDS

The official RBR website states that the 21K Open Category is eligible for prize money.

The published prize rules specify:

• 21K: Top 3 Men & Women overall
• 10K: Top 2 Men & Women overall
• Age-category winners are also eligible for prize money according to the applicable rules.
• Net timing is considered for the overall winners/age-category prize calculations as specified.

Prize results remain provisional until verification. The organizer may conduct physical verification and use anti-cheat measures. Participants who interchange BIBs/BIB tags can be disqualified.

PRIZE MONEY CONDITIONS

• Winners must satisfy the event's timing and verification requirements.
• Participants starting more than 15 minutes after the official start may not be considered for awards.
• Prize money is subject to applicable Indian Income Tax rules.
• Indian winners may be required to provide government ID and PAN.
• Prize disbursement is stated to occur after the prescribed verification period.
