IRONMAN 70.3 Goa

The IRONMAN 70.3 Goa 2026 is one of India’s premier endurance triathlon events, held in the scenic coastal city of Panaji, Goa. Known for its challenging tropical climate and stunning course, the race attracts athletes from over 50 countries.

This middle-distance triathlon (also called a Half Ironman) tests endurance across swimming, cycling, and running disciplines.

Key Areas: Miramar Beach, Panjim Gymkhana, coastal & inland routes

Terrain: Coastal + rolling + hilly sections

Participants must complete the following in sequence:

🏊 Swim: 1.9 km (Arabian Sea – open water)

🚴 Bike: 90 km (hilly and scenic coastal roads)

🏃 Run: 21.1 km (rolling terrain through Panaji)

Expect tough tropical racing conditions:

High Temperature: ~30°C

Low Temperature: ~18°C

Water Temperature: ~28°C

👉 Heat + humidity = major factor. Hydration strategy is critical.

•Each age group winner gets an automatic slot

•Remaining slots are distributed via Performance Pool (based on age-graded timing)

•If a slot is declined, it rolls down to the next eligible athlete

📌 Important: You must be physically present at the Rolldown Ceremony to claim your slot.

•Athletes are grouped by age & gender (e.g., Male 25–29)

•Age is calculated as of 31 December 2026

•Only amateur (non-pro) athletes are eligible
