Gnathang Valley Vibrant Village Marathon 2026
Experience a spectacular high-altitude mountain marathon at approximately 13,500 ft in Gnathang Valley, East Sikkim — often called the “Ladakh of East Sikkim.”
The event promotes Sikkim’s natural beauty, vibrant village tourism, responsible tourism and healthy living, with the message:

Awards
42 KM, 21 KM & 10 KM: Male & Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions will receive trophies and prize money, subject to minimum participation requirements.
5 KM: Male & Female 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions will receive trophies; no cash prize.
Important
* Participants from outside the region should allow at least 3 days for acclimatization before race day.
* Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required for eligible participants travelling to the restricted area.
* Medical Fitness Certificate is compulsory.
* Pre-race accommodation is not provided by the organizer. Participants must arrange their own stay. Hotel/tent details will be shared through the organizer’s event updates.
