BRUTE Basar 6.0: Ultra Trail Running & Cultural Experience
About the Event
BRUTE Basar 6.0 is an annual ultra-running and cultural festival set in the heart of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh—the land of the Galo tribe. Designed to push endurance boundaries while offering an immersive tribal experience, this event takes runners beyond paved roads and into one of India’s most pristine landscapes.
Featuring technical mountain trails, dense forest stretches, river crossings, and rustic village routes, BRUTE Basar is an adventure of self-discovery, resilience, and cultural immersion. Beyond the trail, participants can experience BasCon (A Unique Tribal Festival from The Galo Land), local art, traditional performances, live music, and indigenous cuisine.
